Productivity gains for gas storage wells tapping into tight reservoirs

This paper analyses well development summary for Kushchevsk, Elshan-Kurdyum, Nevskoye, and Stavropol gas storage locations. Well productivity gains are highlighted for bottomhole area stimulation using different flush fluids and foam-acid media. Well upgrade efficiency was assessed for additional inclined lateral holes. The authors summarise gas production stimulation benefits for horizontal and inclined wells, using hydrogen chloride and foam-acid formation treatment. Finally, the entire study was summarised and analysed. A pronounced well yield downtrend was observed for higher differential pressure levels along with implications of formation exposing pattern and degree for well specific productivity index.
