This report highlights advanced space technology applications believed useful for geodetic survey optimisation across Gazprom. It summarises opportunities for space radar interferometer technology and GPS stations when locating a range of Earth surface dislocations and area deformations. Numerous examples highlight higher remote sensing performance with advanced field customisation opportunities. Technical and economic benefits with such geodetic survey tools could be well evidenced by Gazprom practices. Several proposals include the comprehensive use of existing global navigation satellite stations along with space locator measurements. Finally, the paper summarises the key future development areas for such space locator technology tools supported by continuously operated global navigation satellite systems.
